Drop Someone Off

In the example I gave, I said the following:

“I have just dropped off my son at daycare.”

This means that I took my son to daycare in the car and left him there. Because I used the present perfect with just, it means that it happened very recently. Here are two more examples:

  • “My dad used to drop me off at school”
  • In a taxi: “Could you drop me off at the station?”

What to Do Now:

1. Have you dropped someone off somewhere recently? If so, tell us about it in the comment section below.
