Set Goals

In the example I gave, I said the following:

“Setting goals for your English learning is one of the most powerful things you can do.”

To set a goal means to decide what you want to achieve. Here are two more examples:

  • I have set a goal to go hiking every weekend
  • “My friend never sets a goal for his business
